Campervan Amsterdam: your questions

Where do I pick up the campervan near Amsterdam?

At Den Bloeyenden Wijngaerdt in Amstelveen, about 20 minutes from Amsterdam city centre and Schiphol Airport, and easy to reach by bus 300. You get the exact address when you book.

Do I need a special driving licence?

No. A standard category B licence is enough to drive all of our campervans, just like a large car.

Can I really camp without a campsite or power hook-up?

Yes. Every van is fully off-grid with solar panels, a leisure battery, a water tank and a filter, so you can stay independent for days. Please respect local rules on overnight parking.

Can you deliver the van to Schiphol Airport?

Yes, for a surcharge we deliver within 50 km of Amstelveen, including Schiphol. Message us for the cost on your arrival date.

How far is Texel or the coast from Amsterdam?

The North Sea coast at Zandvoort is about 30 minutes away; the ferry to Texel from Den Helder is around 1.5 hours. With an off-grid van you can chase the sunset and sleep near the dunes.
