Texel & the Wadden Islands
Take the ferry from Den Helder to Texel: endless beaches, seal colonies and the iconic red lighthouse. Off-grid means you can watch the sunset and wake up by the dunes.
Land in Amsterdam, pick up your self-built off-grid campervan in Amstelveen and drive straight into the real Netherlands. No campsite, no power socket needed — just solar power, a warm shower and a bed wherever the view is best. Windmills, tulip fields, fishing villages and islands like Texel, all at your own pace.
Arriving by plane or train? We can deliver the van to the airport or your hotel for a surcharge. You get the exact address and walking route as soon as you book.

Amsterdam is only the start. Within an hour or two you reach the windmills, the coast and the Wadden islands. Because your van is off-grid, you sleep where the day ends — no campsite required.
Take the ferry from Den Helder to Texel: endless beaches, seal colonies and the iconic red lighthouse. Off-grid means you can watch the sunset and wake up by the dunes.
Kinderdijk's nineteen windmills, the Zaanse Schans and the green heart of Holland. Wind along the rivers and canals, past cows and drawbridges, at your own pace.
Volendam, Marken, Edam and the canals of Giethoorn: cobbled streets, wooden houses and working harbours. Park up and wander with no timetable to keep.
From late March to mid-May the bulb fields near Lisse explode with colour. A short drive from Amstelveen — go early and beat the crowds.
The North Sea coast from Zandvoort down to Zeeland: wide beaches, dune reserves and fresh seafood. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves.
The Veluwe and Hoge Veluwe: pine forests, purple heather and free-roaming deer. The country's biggest stretch of wilderness, an hour east of Amsterdam.
