The campervans are handed over at Den Bloeyenden Wijngaerdt in Amstelveen, 10 minutes from Amsterdam city centre. On request, the campervans can also be picked up at our workshop in Hoogeveen, Drenthe. Free parking on site.

Standard check-in is 15:00 and standard check-out is 11:00. If you would like to extend these times, we count an extra half day: a half day for check-in from 08:00, and a half day for check-out until 20:00.

During the handover we will walk you through all features of the campervan in detail, take photos and/or video to document its condition, and hand over the keys. You will be well prepared for your trip.

We ask you to leave the campervan in good order: emptied and cleared of personal items, sheets removed from the bed and placed on the mattress, fuel level equal to when you departed, and if used, empty the porta potti cassette. We greatly appreciate proper care of the campervan.

The Horizon and Zonnewijzer start from €109/day (low season), €129/day (mid-season) and €149/day (high season). The Albatros costs €129/day, €149/day and €189/day. Includes 1,250 km per week. Extra kilometers: €0.25/km. Service fee: €40 per booking. Deposit: €1,200.

Deposit: 15% of the rental amount. Security bond: €1,200.

Please send us an email with your cancellation request as soon as possible. More than 4 weeks before start: 50% of the deposit will be refunded. Within 4 weeks before start: the deposit will not be refunded.

Yes, that is possible. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.

Minimum 3 days in low and mid-season (January–June and September–November). In high season (July–August) the minimum rental period is 7 days. Please contact us for long bookings and special pricing.

No. A standard class B driving license is sufficient for all three campervans, the Horizon (VW Crafter), Zonnewijzer (Citroën Jumper) and Albatros (VW Crafter L3).

Yes. All three campervans are insured for all of Europe. There are no restrictions on travel destinations.

Yes, absolutely. All campervans are insured across Europe, including breakdown assistance. For longer road trips through Germany, France or Scandinavia, the Albatros is the most complete choice.

1,250 free kilometers per week are included by default. Additional kilometers cost €0.25 per km. We record the odometer reading at pick-up and return. Any extra costs will be deducted from the security bond.

We rent per 24 hours. The time you collect the campervan is also the time it must be returned. Example: If you pick up the campervan at 10:00, it must also be returned by 10:00. A late return will incur an extra rental day charge.

At the start of the hire you will have: complete kitchen set (pans, plates, cutlery, cups etc.), fresh sheets, enough gas for cooking, at least 40L water, cleaning supplies, two lounge chairs and camping table, essential tools, and first aid kit, hazard warning triangles and safety vests.

We recommend bringing: eye mask (light can come through the ventilation system), towels, soap/shampoo, toilet paper, clothesline, and Nespresso cups or tea.

Small dogs may be allowed in the Horizon. Please contact us in advance to discuss this.

The Albatros can be equipped with a bike rack upon request. In the Horizon and Zonnewijzer, due to cargo space, a small bicycle or set of folding bikes can fit.

Absolutely! Adelaar Campers is popular for weddings and honeymoons. The Zonnewijzer is the most popular choice for this due to the cinema projector and queen size bed.

If any damage occurs during the hire period, please report it to us as soon as possible. We will assist with the process. Upon return the damage amount will be assessed and deducted from the security bond. The maximum excess is €1,200.

Any fines incurred during your hire period are your responsibility. We will forward the payment request to you.
