Scandinavia is where an off-grid campervan comes into its own. Norway, Sweden and Finland have a centuries-old right to roam (allemansrätt) that lets you camp freely in nature — and total autonomy is exactly what makes that possible. From Amstelveen you can be at the Danish border in a day.

With sunshine the solar panels keep the battery topped up indefinitely. Even on cloudy days the battery and water capacity comfortably cover several days of normal use before you need to refill water or find sun.
No. A standard category B licence is sufficient, and both EU and non-EU international driving licences are accepted. Minimum age is 25 years.
Rental starts from €109 per day, depending on the van and the period. Full insurance is included.
